Lynnea Villanova MD, LAc
Lynnea Villanova has practiced as board certified Family Physician
for 11 years. In 2001, she became certified to practice
Medical Acupuncture, culminating many years years of formal
and informal study of Asian medicine. In 2007, she will complete
certification in Ayurveda, the complete medical system of
India. She has joined the faculty of the American School of
Traditional Ayurveda, and addressed the the 2006 conference of
the National Ayurvedic Medical Association. She received her
MD from the University of Connecticut, 1993, and completed
her Family Medicine residency at University of Connecticuťs Department of Family Medicine in 1996. She has a strong personal practice for health maintenance and focuses her work on engaging
others in self care.
